An environmental impact is a change in the environment caused by human activity. These can be positive or negative. When they are negative, they seriously affect the fauna and flora of the environment in which we live, putting natural habitats and public health and safety at risk.
In order to combat this imbalance, which has grown exponentially, it is necessary to invest in measures to combat and prevent it. The situation is no different with electricity, because although some of it comes from renewable energies, some of it does not.
Non-renewable energies are the ones that have the most severe impact on nature, as they reduce the ozone layer and contaminate the soil, water and atmosphere.
Renewable energies, on the other hand, are considered to be clean and inexhaustible, as they come from natural phenomena such as wind and water, without man having much influence. However, they also have a negative side, such as damaging impacts on local biodiversity and even visual impacts.
It is up to us as electricity suppliers, aware that electricity is also harmful to the environment, to work hard in this field to find more advantageous and less abusive solutions.
